1. Overview

ShelfAtlas is an inventory management app that uses your camera and on-device AI to identify and catalog items. Your privacy is our priority.

2. Camera Access

ShelfAtlas uses your camera solely to photograph items for inventory. Photos are processed on-device using Apple Core ML (YOLOv3). No images are sent to external servers.

3. Data Storage

All inventory data (locations, items, photos) is stored locally on your device using Apple SwiftData. No cloud sync is active in the current version.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

No analytics SDKs
No advertising frameworks
No third-party tracking
No cloud uploads of photos or data
No account or login required

5. AI Processing

Object detection runs entirely on your device using Apple Core ML. No images or detection results leave your device.

6. Data Deletion

Delete any item or location at any time within the app. Uninstalling removes all data permanently.
